	The Engineering Company, which was founded in 1987 by ITU Graduate Mech. Eng. Cemal KURUM, later expanded its fields of activity and completed its establishment in 1991 as "ETA ENDUSTRI TESISLERI INSAAT MUHENDISLIK MONTAJ SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI" . Since its establishment, it has accomplished important works in related sectors. Between 1988-1989, our company worked in the construction of Drinking Water, Rainwater and Sewer Lines for the GEBZE Organized Industrial Zone Infrastructure Project, which was its first job. Although 33 years have passed since its construction, GOSB Gebze Organized Industrial Zone sets an example for many places in terms of Infrastructure Facilities. Our company founder, Cemal KURUM, worked for TEKFEN Insaat ve Tesisat A.S. for many years, and worked as Project Manager, Site Supervisor and Project Engineer in many projects. And while he was leaving Tekfen, he served as the Site Supervisor in the construction of the 2nd Iraq - Turkey Crude Oil Pipeline, which was completed in a short period of 17 months in 1986-1987. Our company has been among the main invited contractors of TPAO by operating in the Petroleum fields in the Southeast for many years. In addition, MOBIL Exploration Mediterranean Company's quality and high gravity BATMAN / SELMO Oil field operated for 3 years (1993-1996) and played a strategic role in meeting the crude oil needs of our country. Our company has NATO Security Certificate and BOTAS and EPDK's authorized high pressure Pipelines, Pumping stations Engineering-Contracting authorization certificate. The development of our company, its experienced technical staff and the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates it holds by prioritizing the utmost importance and quality for every job, has been among the medium sized Turkish Contracting Companies recommended for serious organizations, especially foreign companies. Our company attracted the attention of foreign companies and successfully completed the "Marine Natural Gas Pipeline, Platform and Wells Project", Turkey's first Oﬀ-Shore Project, which was commissioned in 1997 by TPAO in the Marmara Sea off the coast of SILIVRI, together with Momentum Engineering, an American company. The high-pressure Marine Natural Gas Pipeline we have built, 4.5 km from the shore, is working safely, and no damage was found during the controls made after the 17 August 1999 earthquake. We believe that we once again deserve the rightful pride of the then Prime Minister Mr. Mesut YILMAZ's trust in Turkish Engineers and Contractors and his open thanks to me by name at the opening ceremony. For this reason, our aim as a company is to complete the works we take on time, completely, in accordance with the benefit of the society and with the awareness of environmental responsibility, based on the total quality understanding in every work we do.
